Welcome to the Wedding of Emma & James
Some of you may recognise Emma & James from aone of our previous blogs. Emma & James had an engagement
shoot with us earlier this year. This wedding was a pleasure to be apart, we love photographing
weddings more than anything especially when we have a fun and relaxed bridal party.
Emma & James chose to say their “I DO’S” at Shellys beach in Caloundra, Queensland. The only thing Emma was worried
about was the rain. When she arrived at the ceremony she was happy to see the rain had stayed away,
however the wind was howling and there was rain on the horizon.
The ceremony went on without a drama as the rain stayed away for us, although the wind was proving to be
difficult for poor Emma with her veil.
After the ceremony we captured some family shots and proceeded to get straight into the portraits as the rain was only
right around the corner. The bridal party had a blast and we got some great shots,
they got right into the swing of things and help create some great images and memories for Emma & James.
When we headed down onto the beach literally within minutes the rain had started to
lightly sprinkle. We pushed on for about ten minutes down on the rocks with just our bride & groom
with only minutes to spare before that rain came pouring down.
As soon as we were done at the beach
with portraits we drove to the Caloundra Power Boat Club (in the poring rain) to get ready for the
reception to begin. As we arrived 45 minutes due to the rain we let the bridal party relax with a few drinks
while we got creative and had some fun doing some fun photos, you will see we managed to get a really
cool gansta cigar shot with the whole bridal party which was a great laugh as everyone got their poses
on and nailed the shot.
We wish Emma & James all the best for their future and would like to thank you for choosing SEP Photography.
